World-renowned airbrush artist Wayne Harrison joins celebrity photographer David Anderson to create a calendar of stunning painted models and airbrushed designer cars and bikes.

Flesh Air is a 13 episode reality television series that follows the antics of Wayne, David and the airbrush shop crew as they race to complete the photos for their calendar.

On air Thursday October 13 at 9.30pm on Television Sydney - TVS. Produced by Vision TV, Flesh Air is the story of Wayne's artistic vision to combine airbrushed models with high performance cars and bikes in a calendar that celebrates two of Sydney's greatest loves, cars and women!

Shot on location in Western Sydney, each episode reveals a hot design combining a model and car in a photoshoot. Get an exclusive inside viewing of the models' dressing rooms as Wayne and the team create airbrush art as you've never seen before. Designs of airbrushed snakes, formula one drivers and zombies on skin and metal are photographed with custom performance cars to create the most amazing Pirelli style calendar.

Wayne and David's contrasting style and personalities, combined with the crazy real-life characters - including the nervous apprentices and the artist's wife, Joanne - will have everyone laughing as they race against time to get the photo shoot finished.

Wayne is an internationally acclaimed airbrush artist based in Western Sydney whose work has been commissioned by the likes of Virgin and Sony, adorning everything from PlayStations to planes.

In Flesh Air, Wayne works on the most challenging canvas of his life - the human body.

Joining Wayne is celebrity photographer David Anderson, who has taken portraits of musicians such as Jimmy Barnes and actors Daniel Craig and Heath Ledger, with his work gracing the cover of titles

such as Rolling Stone, Time and a plethora of womens' magazines.

The CEO of Television Sydney Rachel Bentley says Flesh Air is a light hearted celebration of a family business. The series is a home-grown, locally produced reality television program. Local

audiences deserve to see high calibre productions produced in Western Sydney.

"Flesh Air expands the concept of reality TV by combining car culture with high end fashion photography."Since the early days of Annie Leibovitz's photograph of Demi Moore's "Birthday Suit" that

appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair, body painting as living art has grown in popularity.

"Most recently Wayne Harrison has been asked to display his work for Body Canvas - a celebrity charity fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation" Ms Bentley says.

"The dedication of the artistic team to produce a high quality and sometime risqué result combines the earthy feel of an airbrush shop team into a fun reality style program," says Ms Bentley.

The crew of Flesh Air are drawn from the Greater Western Sydney area. Jo and Wayne Harrison grew up in Merrylands and are local Penrith residents. The theme song for the series "Don't Tease" is performed by local Springwood band "Modern Error" and was written especially for the series.
